Shlomi Nahumson, head of the youth division of Israeli Defense Force Widows and Orphans Organization (IDFWO), was invited for a special briefing to the staff of the Joining Forces Initiative at the White House on Tuesday, together with representatives from the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS).
The Joining Forces Initiative was established by First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden to support US veterans and their families.
