Shabak announced that joint efforts of the Israel Police, the IDF, and Shabak itself have led to the capture of Ahmad Abu Rov, born in 1989, a resident of Qabatiya, which is near Highway 60, south of Afula.
Ahmad is an Islamic Jihad activist, and is suspected of being involved in a shooting incident at an IDF checkpoint at Mavo Dotan, west of Qabatiya. He is also suspected of being in contact is Islamic Jihad members in Gaza.
