Simcha Goldin, the father of fallen soldier Hadar Goldin, vowed, Tuesday, to return his son's body from Hamas hands in Gaza for burial in Israel in the way Hadar would have acted, "with courage and humility. We won't be afraid and we won't be deterred."
Speaking to hundreds at a memorial to mark two years since Hadar was killed in the Protective Edge counter-terror operation, his father said the state's leaders had failed to bring his son back from Gaza. He said the concept of "mutual involvement is eroding and with it all the values on which we were educated, which we teach, which are the foundation of our existence."
