The official value of the shekel rose an average of .233 percent, Tuesday, against the featured currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list.
The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.82, down .235 percent, while the Euro declined .257 percent to 4.2355 shekels. The pound was set at 4.9598 shekels, down .923 percent. The latter two currencies have suffered since Britain's June 28th vote to leave the European Union.
