The Movement for Quality Government has called on Chairman Nissan Slomiansky of Knesset Constitution, Law and Justice Committee to prevent progress on a proposal by MK David Amsalem that would prevent a prime minister from being investigated on petty offenses.
The movement issued a statement which said, "This is a new low in harm to the rule of law and spitting in the face of the Israeli public."
