By a vote of 32-16, with one abstention, the Knesset has approved the final reading of a bill that would send a terrorist under the age to a locked facility on a conviction for murder, attempted murder or manslaughter.
Just before 14, a hearing would be held to determine if the convicted terrorist would be transferred to prison, stay in the locked facility or have custody shortened or cancelled. The law will come up for review in three years.
