Chairwoman Karin Elharrar of the Knesset State Control Committee reacted, Tuesday evening, to a report that Likud Member of Knesset Oren Hazan will be removed from the committee by saying, "All of Binyamin Netanyahu's games won't help him."

Referring to the committee's consideration of a state inquiry into 2014's Protective Edge counter-terror operation in Gaza, the Yesh Atid lawmaker said the committee would discuss the State Comptroller's report on the fighting on its merits and in the most serious and appropriate manner. She said, "Anyone who has anything to do with the report will be part of the discussion and anyone who has to bear responsibility will do so. The prime minister is only acting out of political considerations and it is not clear what he is so afraid of."
