The official value of the shekel declined an average of .126 percent, Tuesday, against most of the featured currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list.

The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.815, up .236 percent, while the Euro rose .525 percent to 4.2712 shekels. The pound sterling was set at NIS 5.0534, up .72 percent, while an identical rise brought 100 Japanese yen to 3.7491 shekels.
