A grass fire broke out, Monday afternoon, on Maaneh Simcha Street in the Romema neighborhood of Jerusalem, according to the Walla website. Seven firefighting companies were sent to battle the blaze and keep it from spreading to nearby homes and other areas.
Nearby residents were told to protect themselves from smoke by closing doors and windows and to follow the instructions of emergency personnel.
