The Knesset Ethics Committee decided, Monday, to issue a sharp censure to Knesset member Hanin Zoabi (Joint Arab List), in the wake of harsh statements she made in the Knesset calling Israeli soldiers murderers, following the signing of Israel's reconciliation agreement with Turkey. Member of Knesset Oren Hazan (Likud) was similarly censured for compounding the inflammatory atmosphere at the time of Zoabi's comments.
The refusal of Knesset members Hilik Bar (Zionist Union), Nava Boker (Likud), Aliza Lavie (Yesh Atid) and Mickey Levy (Yesh Atid) to stay in their seats was noted in their records.
