Hungarian-born Israeli composer Andre Hajdu passed away, Monday, at the age of 84. His funeral is scheduled for Monday evening on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem.
Hajdu was awarded the Israel Prize for Music in 1997. Among his students were popular musician Yoni Richter, popular religious musicians Aharon and Yonatan Razel and classical musician Gil Shohat.
