Remand of Rabbi Berland extended until next week

The Jerusalem District Court ruled, Monday, that Rabbi Eliezer Berland must remain in custody until an August 10th hearing on alternate arrangements as he awaits trial on sex offenses.

The ruling came in an appeal of a magistrates-court decision.
