Rabbi Yeshayahu Pinto was called in today as a witness for the prosecution of Rabbi Avraham Yisrael, head of the organization "Hazon Yeshaya," who is on trial for defrauding donors.
During the question, Rabbi Pinto responded "if a man needs to pass money [bribe], he passes."
Pinto, who is serving time in prison for a similar case, was suspected of assisting Yisrael in bribery and in appointing his associates; however, that element of his case was closed for lack of evidence.
