Right meets Left as Knesset prepares to pass mandatory disabilities employment law

A law proposal which would require companies to have a certain percentage of people with disabilities on its staff in order to receive government funding, has been passed by its committee for a third reading.

The law was proposed by MKs Nurit Koren (Likud) and Itzik Shmuli (Zionist Union).

If the bill passes its third reading, it will be written into law.
