Security officers at the Trans-Samaria Crossing identified on Sunday night four pipe bombs in the car of an Arab with Israeli citizenship who was on his way back from Judea and Samaria.
The vehicle was inspected and a police sapper was called to the scene to neutralize the bomb. Highway 5 was blocked to traffic in both directions due to the incident.
