The law to legally settle the problem of Amona, sponsored by MK Shuli Muallem-Rafaeli (Jewish Home) was not brought up for a vote this morning, as the Attorney General has not yet responded on the possibilities of saving Amona without legislation.
Politicians and officials are working furiously to find a legal solution to save Amona, a town slated for destruction by the Supreme Court after it declared it "illegal." Amona is scheduled to be destroyed by December, 2016.
