IDF soldiers and Palestinian Arabs exchanged fire on Tuesday night during an IDF operation in the village of Surif, north of Hevron.
The soldiers reportedly encountered violent riots and responded with riot control measures. Palestinian media reported that six of the rioters were injured and that electricity was cut off in the area. There were no reports of injuries among the Israeli soldiers.
