Chief-of-Staff Gadi Eisenkot of the Israel Defense Forces said, Tuesday, that the IDF has killed 166 terrorists in Judea and Samaria during the last 10 months. That's almost the same number killed in the previous seven years.
In a security review for the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, the lieutenant-general said during that time period, more than 3,200 terror suspects have been arrested, more than 250 weapons have been seized and destroyed, and about 20 lathes for making weapons have also been destroyed. He said there's a growing feeling on the Palestinian street that terrorism is futile.
