Researchers from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus were shocked to discover that the number of children who needed medical care from marijuana exposure nearly doubled, every since it was legalized in 2014.

The study, published in JAMA Pediatrics, notes that the number of marijuana-related visits to childrens hospitals in Colorado rose to 2.3 per 100,000, as compared to 1.2 per 100,000 before legalization.
