The Palestinian Authority asked the Arab League, Monday, to help it sue Britain over the Balfour Declaration of 1917, which supported the establishment of a Jewish homeland in the British Mandate for Palestine near the end of World War I.
PA Foreign Minister Riyad al-Malki told and Arab League summit in Mauritania that London is responsible for all “Israeli crimes” committed since the end of the mandate in 1948. He said the declaration “gave people who don’t belong there something that wasn’t theirs.”
