Strategic Affairs Minister Gilad Erdan spoke, as the Knesset passed the anti-internet incitement bill through its first reading:
"I call to all independent internet companies, some of which hold more power than countries: don't wait for legislation.
"Your platforms and the incitement on them are causing acts of murder and terror. You cannot hide from this fact. Not now, and not in the future. It doesn't matter if it's a wave of terror, or an intifada. "
