The official value of the shekel gained an average of .146 percent, Tuesday, against the other featured currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list.
The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.856, down .104 percent, while the Euro slipped .009 percent to 4.2648 shekels. The pound sterling was set at NIS 5.0822, down .517 percent.
