Member of Knesset Michal Rozin (Meretz) called on Public Safety Minister Gilad Erdan, Sunday, to act in every way for the safety of those marching in this Thursday's Jerusalem Gay Pride Parade and to prevent any activity which could hurt public safety or the right to demonstrate. Rozin recalled the police oversight that lead to the murder of spectator Shira Banki at last year's parade.
MK Rozin wrote to Minister Erdan after Chairman Bentzi Gopstein of the Lehava anti-assimilation group Lehava called for a demonstration against the parade.
