The United States Department of Defense announced, Sunday, that the US-led coalition fighting Islamic State terrorists has resumed sorties from the Incirlik Air Base in Turkey. The base was shut down as a result of the weekend's failed military coup.
The Pentagon issued a statement that said Turkey reopened its airspace to military aircraft, resulting in operations against Islamic State from all air bases in Turkey.
