Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman visited Hizme Checkpoint this morning, north of Jerusalem, to observe the challenges Jewish and Palestinian commuters face.
The visit comes as part of an initiative to stream-line traffic while maintaining a high-level of security, in areas which experience daily hours of backed-up traffic.
MK Liberman: "As for the problems at Hizme Checkpoint and Qalandiya Checkpoints...there are obvious solutions, administrative and structural, it's just that for a long time, they haven't done what is needed."
