MK Shuli Mualem, head of the Jewish Home Knesset faction, on Friday reacted to the expected discussion on Sunday to discuss a law that will regulate the legal status of homes built with government support on lands in Judea and Samaria that turned out to be privately owned.

"The hourglass on the existence of Amona is steadily advancing. We can save the town from destruction and prevent harm to other places in Judea and Samaria only if the law is approved," she said.

"When most members of the ministerial committee for legislation support the law, including two ministers with veto power, no one will want to take responsibility for its failing. Therefore, should I see that this law is not expected to pass the ministerial committee, I will remove it in order to turn all the efforts towards the final meeting of the committee during the summer session," added Mualem.
