Finance Minister Moshe Kahalon has appointed Adiel Shomron as the Director of the Israel Lands Authority.
Shomron has filled in as acting director of the ILA for the past year and a half, while continuing his work as Directore of the Business Division Authority.
In the past, Shomron has served in the directorship of the Administration Department and s Deputy Director of the Disengagement Authority, which dealth with the Jewish refugees of the Gaza disengagement.
