MK Rachel Azariya (Kulanu) applauds the passing of the FATCA Law, which will regulate the economic activity of companies and organizations in tandem with the United States' IRS:
"Israelis whom hold American citizenship need to pay taxes like everyone else, and this agreement settles the matter. I too, when I entered the Knesset, gave up my American citizenship, but until then I paid taxes to the United States as per the law. The State of Israel and the market don't need to pay an economic price because of her dual citizens."
