Elbit Systems has unveiled a self-defense system for pilotless aircraft at the Farnborough 2016 exhibition. The Light SPEAR system increases an unmanned aerial vehicle's survivability which is important to the growing need for gathering intelligence in a hostile environment
Light SPEAR incorporates the company's experience built up in protecting fighter planes, helicopters, transports and other piloted aircraft.
