Retired Jerusalem police chief Aryeh Amit said, Monday morning, that police are investigating matters involving Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.
Referring to Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit's comments, Sunday evening, stressing that police were checking and not conducting a criminal investigation, Amit told Arutz Sheva that "checking" does not exist in the police lexicon, while "investigating" does. He said the attorney general used the term "checking" to downplay the importance of the investigation
