Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot of the Israel Defense Forces marked the 10th anniversary of the Second Lebanon War, Sunday, saying the IDF has learned from its shortcomings. He said preparedness for war and other emergencies is the military's top priority.
The lieutenant general was the head of the operations branch during the war. Referring to Hezbollah terrorists, he said Israel's northern enemies are testing it all the time. He said that at the moment of truth, the IDF will prove that it is prepared, strong, powerful and decisive.
