The Supreme Court issued an order today forbidding the transfer of Israel's Public Broadcasting Service from Jerusalem to Modiin, at the petition of MK Yehiel Hilik Bar and Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat.
MK Bar: These days, even as we fight for the global status of Jerusalem, and even as the government speaks loftily of the importance of Jerusalem, in reality the government does the opposite, and makes unfortunate decisions such as this one. It is sad that we need to need deal with this battle for the honor of Jerusalem and her public institutions. This was good news, and we will continue to strengthen Jerusalem!"
