This summer, Camp Gan Israel-Budapest will move into the yeshiva in Mád, Hungary, which has stood empty since 1944.
“It will be just wonderful to hear the children sing Jewish songs, learn Jewish traditions and celebrate Shabbat here in Mád,” says Mariann Frank, the town's sole Jewish citizen. “This is something no one could have ever imagined.”
