Alumni of Ramaz School in New York are protesting tomorrow the "winds of radicalization, that have been blowing in the Rabbinate in recent years." The protest comes in wake of the Rabbinate allegedly no longer recognizing the conversions of Rabbi Haskel Lookstein, principal of Ramaz, who converted Ivanka Trump to Judaism. Ivanka's conversion was recognized because the rabbi completed the RCA procedure for vetting conversion, which he did not do for others.
The protest will be held in Jerusalem, and is expected to include Natan Sharansky, Rabbi Shlomo Riskin, Rabbi Dr. Seth Farber, and MK Elazar Stern.
