At the end of his meeting with the President of Kenya, Netanyahu confirmed that Israel will again oversee the Organization of African Unity.
"It is very relevant, from our perspective. Africa is a continent with 54 states. The possibility of changing their attitude and relationship with Israel would be a strategic change in Israel's international status. The [idea] is already resonating through Africa...Our efforts are aimed, essentially, at gathering a large number of countries that support Israel."
