Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman and Treasurer Moshe Kahlon decided, Monday to name former public safety minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch to chair the Israel Military Industries.
They named former agriculture minister Ya'ir Shamir to chair Israel Aerospace Industries. The son of former prime minister Yitzhak Shamir served in the Air Force from 1963 to 1988 as a pilot, engineer and commander.
Both represented Liberman's Yisrael Beyteinu party in the Knesset.
