At an official ceremony in the Ministry of Defense, attended by Defense Minister, the Chief of Staff and the Director of the Ministry of Defense, Brigadier General (Ret) Dr. Danny Gold officially took up his position as Head of Ministry of Defense (Director of Research and Development of Weapons and Technological Infrastructure).
Gold replaces Ophir Shoham who served for the past six years, and now leaves the defense establishment after 36 years.
