The Petah Tikva Magistrates Court on Friday afternoon rejected a police request and ordered the release of the minor from Yitzhar who was arrested overnight Thursday, under conditions of house arrest.
In her ruling, the judge criticized the police and security officials and pointed out that "the picture painted so far is not satisfactory. It seems as though not enough consideration was given to the opinion of the welfare authorities, who should be notified when a minor has been arrested."
