The family of a citizen of Eritrea who was beaten to death by civilians who mistook him for a terrorist after an attack in the central bus station in Be’er Sheva is suing the state for compensation of 3 million shekels, Kol Yisrael radio reported Wednesday.

The family of Haftom Zarhum brought the case to the District Court in Be'er Sheva, according to the report. They are also demanding that the Attorney General require the National Insurance Institute to recognize their loved one as a "victim of hostilities".
