A mentally disturbed Muslim man stabbed a 19-year-old woman in western France and later told local police officers that he heard voices commanding him to make a Ramadan sacrifice.
The victim was stabbed in her arm and belly. The stabber was sent to a local psychiatric hospital for observation.
