Knesset Finance Committee head Eitan Cabel (Zionist Union) has canceled the discussion on the appointment of Rami Sadan as the head of Channel 10.
"I take the decision by Channel 10's management not to attend this discussion very seriously," he said. "Both I and the committee have worked hard for Channel 10 and I am very angry when I say that I don't intend to advance the agenda. We wanted to give them an opportunity to work on the issue professionally."
MK Cabel continued: "I don't intend to hold the discussion. Everyone may come but I won't give in to them - Rami Sadan told me that he is sick and Channel 10's management didn't come. We will release a new summons for the entire Television Authority, including the owners of Channel 10. I don't respect anyone who doesn't respect us."
