The Goldin family responded on Friday afternoon to the Defense Ministry's decision to recognize Hadar Goldin as a captive missing in action.
"We praise the IDF and the defense establishment for recognizing Hadar and Oron [Shaul] as captives missing in action. By declaring Hadar as a captive missing in action, the State of Israel declares that the mission to bring him back is not yet complete and that it is fully committed to bringing Hadar back to be buried in Israel," the family said.
"We expect practical steps on the part of the State of Israel, the IDF and the defense establishment to bring Hadar and Oron back quickly. "
