A 6.4 magnitude earthquake struck northern Nicaragua early this morning (Friday).
According to the US Geological survey, the epicenter was about 26 kilometers northeast of the city of Chinandega.
There is no information on casualties yet, though local media report that a church's walls collapsed.
Nicaragua is in central Africa.
