Agriculture Minister Uri Ariel signed on Tuesday with his Russian counterpart a deal to improve cooperation between Israel and Russia in the field of agriculture.
Ariel said that “The deal that was signed is a step forwards in ties between the two countries in the field of agriculture. The success of Israel’s dairy industry is known throughout the world, and it is symbolic that a deal emphasizing the dairy industry was signed on the eve of the holiday of Shavuot, which has become the dairy holiday in Israel.”
