Jewish Home faction head MK Shuli Mualem-Refaeli said on Tuesday evening at a protest run by residents of the Binyamin community of Amona that “A reality where homes are evacuated and destroyed is unacceptable to a rightwing government.”
“It is clear that when homes or communities were built on private land, and there is proof of this, the owners have a right to the land. But, this can be translated into allocating land in another place, as well as monetary compensation. This solution has existed in the State of Israel for years and it must be implemented in Amona as well. In the same vein, the communities in Judea and Samaria should be regulated accordingly.”
