Health Minister MK Yaakov Litzman called earlier on Tuesday to the head of Channel 10’s Board of Directors, Rami Sadan, to take back statements made against him in Haaretz.
According to the reports in Haaretz, Sadan allegedly told Channel 10 board members that “I, like you in the elite, hate the Shas movement and the thief, Aryeh Deri.”
Litzman said in response that “I condemn the statements attributed to Mr. Rami Sadan… Sticking a derogatory label upon an entire population is a dangerous phenomenon that causes incitement and divisiveness between groups. We must prevent this and must act to bridge gaps within the nation.”
