Jerusalem police have asked the court to prevent five activists from entering the Old City today (Sunday), Jerusalem Day.

The five were detained for questioning during a protest against a Christian mission last week and were forced to sign an conditional exclusion from the Old City.

Itamar Ben-Gvir, from the legal defense organization Honenu, is representing the activists and asked the court to convene immediately. "The police conduct, aside from the fact that it indicate panic and hysteria, demonstrates that the police do not respect people's civil and human rights," he said.
