The rightwing Am Kalavi organization, responsible for organizing Sunday’s Rikudegalim flag parade in Jerusalem responded to the High Court’s decision on the parade’s trajectory.
“This year, we will again march on Jerusalem Day to the Old City from all of the capital’s corners and will unite with Israeli flags. That being said, the decision to clear the Muslim Quarter of Jews 40 minutes before Ramadan begins, is outrageous. The High Court decided that Ramadan is more important than Jerusalem Day.”
