President Reuven Rivlin spoke on Sunday at the national ceremony in member of deceased Ethiopian Jews at Har Herzl.
“We must remember that the battle is not over,” he said. “From the moment of their aliyah, the battle becomes the olim’s fight to be Israeli. Mistakes were made. Despite good intentions, many times, the challenges bfore them were not understood. Israeli society must continue to correct the failings.”
