The left-wing “Ir Amim” organization petitioned the High Court against the passing of the traditional Rikudegalim flag parade through Jerusalem’s Muslim Quarter next week, in light of the parade being held close to Ramadan.
The petition was filed despite an agreement between the police and the parade’s organizers to have the even end its passage through the Muslim Quarter by 6:30 p.m., before Muslim worshippers head out to prayer services.
